Happy Monday everyone. Here is my card for today's CAS challenge - white layers
Butterfly image was stamped with versafine onyx black ink and clear embossed. Coloured with Tombow marker. I stamped another butterfly and cut it out. Used it as a maSK. Cut the image panel to a 4" square. Next I made a circle mask and placed it over the butterfly panel. Sponged going grey and basic grey around the butterfly. Stamped the weathered backgrounder using going grey overtop of the circle. Layered the image panel with a gemstone white cardstock and a textured acrylic watercolour paper. Sewed edges. Stamped the sentiment and cut it out. Left the spellbinder die over the punched out circle ands sponged basic grey around sentiment. Glued on the tiny purple rhinestones with crystal effects. Popped up sentiment.
Thanks for looking,
Hugs Pat

This is so beautiful Pat. Your framing and stitching are the perfect accents for your bold image. Your sponged shading (even on the sentiment panel) is wonderful.

I love the combination of colors in the layers, Pat! I see you even found a way to get some stitching in there!! Great job!
