Here is my card for Brenda's challenge to use maps, globes, or elements from them. I found a very old tourist map and cut out a piece with a Nestabilities die. Traced around and cut out with the same die on navy cardstock. Now here is something I have never done before, or ever seen done, so I am calling this Stamp-Accented Embossing for lack of a better description. ;) I used a cuttlebug embossing folder on the card base, then I stamped on top of it with my Linen background stamp. It only inked the raised embossing, and it looks great! Then I noticed the absence of ink on the stamp in the pattern of the embossing pattern, and stamped again on my map piece. So cool!
