This is a card thanking my son's teacher for all she has done this past year. My son is attending school at the Center for Autism and she has been with him for 2 years with much success.
For Mother's Day, the kids used tissue paper to wrap my gift and I loved the tissue paper, so I decided to use the tissue technique or whatever it's called. I crumpled the tissue paper and glued it onto a piece of cardstock being careful to keep a lot of the texture from the crumpling.
This card got out of control. Couldn't get the colors right, layout, etc. Now, it's filled with everything but the kitchen sink, but I hope she will like it.
Thanks Bearzi - Gingerbeary8 - for the beautiful sparkly purple flowers.
Thanks so much for taking a look. I'll be out of town for a week, so will get b/hind on comments, but hopefully catch up eventually.

Ooh, so very pretty with the gift wrap. I almost couldn't comment when I saw Debzi's comment about my age...911. Wow! That far surpasses the age you always give me. Anyway, I love the pretty ribbon/bow and those lovely flowers from Bearzi. The teacher is sure to love this beauty.

Don't you love when cards come to life all on their own and kind of make their own decisions? Kind of like our kids in that respect. We look at them ask ourselves, "where did this come from?" but at the same time we are saying, "boy am I amazed and proud." Rambling again I know - they don't call me Nutzi for nothing! Wonderful teacher appreciation card, love the tissue paper, and I love your sparkly flowers from Bearzi! Hugz!
