This was made in honor of this week's queen Taylor aka stagccva. I loved the monochromatic feel of her card http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...by=mf&way=desc and when I saw the bird flying it made me think about my kids who are growing up and leaving the nest. The brown, muted tones in her card were so beautiful and captured my heart.
I took a wood plaque and layered my goodies on it. Lots of layered stamping, sponging, distressing, crumpling to capture the feel of Taylor's original beauty.
