This is not at all what I had in mind when I set out to make a birthday card for my 32-year-old son, but it evolved into something I'm quite pleased with....
Making a "man card" look nice without the typical girly embellishments is tough! I opted for a plain black button into which I inserted a piece of the colored cs that had been b/g stamped, and I topped it with a clear page pebble. (The button was just begging to have something tied to it, but I resisted the urge.)
It's difficult to see in the photo, but I embossed the colored strips with a Houndstooth e/f. Try as I might, I could NOT get the camera to accurately pick up the nice color of the Taken with Teal cs. The sentiment was computer generated.

I love this - perfectly simple and clean - I make them like this for women too! LOL! Seriously, this layout would work for just about any occasion, any person - just change the colours and embellies. Gotta love versatility!

Oh, absolutely!! If I hadn't had errands to run today, my intention was to make one in pink with a different sentiment...just because! Although my own personal gallery doesn't reflect my love of versatility, my favorites gallery sure does!
