Took some time this morning to play along in the Technique and CAS challenges. I tried the cutaway technique. I traced my circle die then stamped my marker-inked floral image in the circle. I had to use my Stamp-a-ma-jig to add another flower to reach the edge of the circle. I then used my paper snips to cut away the circle. I was a little sloppy along the edges of the circle so I ended up die cutting a circle frame and adding it. I used a reverse circle cut mask to sponge a Turquoise circle on the inside of my card. I used a die cut letter for part of my sentiment.

I am so impressed with your cutting - it's one thing to just cut something out, but to cut it while it's attached to a circle or an opening, is so much trickier! I love the sponged blue on the inside - it really sets the image off nicely.

Ahh, Gail...I had the same issue with the outside frame! Seems that all of that fussy cutting (which you did way more than I did) tends to bend and fold the outer perimeter of the design. I added a top layer as well to hide my little 'imperfections'. Your cutting is magnificent, I honestly don't think that I would've had the patience to do what you did....but it was certainly well worth it!
