The free for all challenge was perfect for today because I needed a grad card for a friend at work who is a mom plus working and is just finishing her schooling to be a teachers aid, so she has been working hard at it and we at work want to let her know we are so happy for her.
And the twisted sister challenge is to use browns, pinks and another neutral, having pearls for dessert, if you knew me you know I can't hardly ever refuse dessert...he-he. but these colors work well too as she is into browns and rusts so I am glad to be on the bus...Yah....been way too long.
I alos wanted to honour our queen for the week...Becky, a wonderful deserving queen and has a super pretty gallery to explore. so I chose this card here ...to case...CC342 Psalm 3:3 by BeckyTE at Splitcoaststampers. I loved her colors but kept it in the browns and pinks. As I was cutting the verse part out I realized i missed leaving enough room to do the neat tear style at the bottom, and as I went through my papers i had no more brown to go under it to re cut that so had to add just a small bow. The sentiment I just found off the computer...I cut that out and sponged the edges, stamped the flowers colored them with water pen and markers and sponged that layer too and added the "pearl"ishous...dessert.and raised the sentiment with the stickies..Easy breezy...:0)...Thanks for visiting.
