I lucked out with today's colors..they're all in my background paper! This stamp reminds me of my childhood. My sister and I always wore a hat to church. One time I remember being at a wedding and wearing my hat (kind of resembled this but not as fancy) and being about seven at the time I was kind of fidgety...who cares about love? I was a tomboy and wanted to be running around outside. Well my hat fell off and landed in the pew behind us. I'm sure my mom was horrified. I probably had a goofy smile on my face. And yes, the lady behind me gave it back

This is adorable! I love your hat story too. I remember wearing hats to church and white gloves -- hated it. We always sat close to the back (as my mother was always late), so I made a game of it, but counting all the hats in the church. Made the time go faster. Your card is really cute! I love it.

Love the card immensly. Your story brought a smile to my face. I remember the hat days. Actually we were required to wear something on our heads being female. Thank goodness those days are gone. tfs

Cute story, Polly. Your card is like a summer day in a field of wildflowers. Love the hat image...so pretty and your use of today's colors is terrific!
