 | | Here is my card for the CAS172 Love Challenge and the TLC379 Distressed Edges Challenge. I saw a video showing how to make these cool flowers earlier today and I couldn't help myself, I had to try it! Here is a link to the video: http://stampsandscrapbooks.typepad.c...om-flower.html By the way, she's got a lot of cool cards posted on her blog!
I made the flower from Rose Red card stock and sponged the edges with Perfect Plum (might be hard to see in the photo) to give it a sort-of vintage look. The flower is made by running the paper through the crimper several times and peeling it apart into layers (the edges look more distressed in real life). Used my scoring tool to make the lines, stamped the sentiment, rounded the edges and it was done. I think it took about 5 minutes to do! |
