The background was a piece of card stock with the graduation caps already on it. I've had it for awhile, so I don't know where I purchased it or what brand it was.
The cap was recycled from a party garland of plastic graduation caps. We had several of them left after a party and figured the caps could be used on cards. There was a small whole in the top of the cap where the string went through, so I just trimmed the top point of the cap off where the string had gone through it. It was applied to the card with SU dimensionals. I' ve made several of these cards over the last couple of years...very simple but cute!
