Toni asked us to make a green card this week. Got me some new nesties so I looked for a large, long image...and Flourishes Apple of My Eye was the perfect fit.
Stamped the main image in Memento Tuxedo Black on handmade washi and colored with Copics. Coloring on the washi is significantly different than Copic-friendly CS, so there are a few color malfunctions. Added some gel pen highlights to the apples and Spica sparkle to the center of the blossoms. Mounted on a BG Green at Heart Romantic Rectangle. I cut slits in the corners so that the pretty details of the die cut wouldn't be covered by the washi, adding Copic-dyed pearl accents. Added the sentiment, hemp twine and button. Mounted on an ivory card that had been painted with Old Paper and Tattered Rose crackle paint. This card is for DS in Japan (who like his brothers IS the apple of my eye!). PT - 2
Thank you for looking. Have a peaceful day.

Very pretty..your image is beautifully colored and aren't those rectangle nesties fab?..I just got them, too and I think they add such a romantic frame to whatever you want to show off.
