How overwhelmingly sad. I am so sorry for your loss. It's been eight years, and I'm sure you still think of your precious son every day. I am so grateful for heroes like him, and your entire family who also sacrificed for our freedom. It is a beautiful card and beautiful tribute to him.

This is one life event that way too many parents, siblings, children, and other loved ones have had to face. I thank you for sharing your tribute and am sorry for your loss.

OMG...the tears are rolling down my cheeks! What a wonderful tribute to your son! I truly appreciate the sacrifices that he & his fellow soldiers make for all of us at home. I feel like I should be making a card for you & your family in appreciation for YOUR sacrifice as well! May God rest your sons' soul & bring you & your family comfort & peace! God bless you!

My son lived and died doing exactly what he wanted to do. Being a Marine. The Marine family have blessed our life and continue to do so. Jon his younger brother is currently a Cpl in the Marine Corps and Chels is a Poly Sci/History double major getting ready for Grad School and specializing in Military History.
This card was made because it is the one moment in time that changed me I am no longer the person I was before Jer's death. I never take a moment for granted.
I see the ads for sales and all the talk about long weekend but nothing about why we have this time. Thank you all for your kind words.
