So excited, I made this to solve my case storage issues. Now I have room to grow for several years. Made bookends to attach to the top shelf for more storage in the far future, I'll just screw them down when I need the space. Thought I'd share so others could use the same idea. It can be made to any length depending on how much wall space you have. Just space your shelves far enough apart to hold the type cases you want on that particular shelf. I would even have room to consider unmounting my woods! Any more questions...just ask.

What a fabulous idea, I'm definitely going to consider something like this for my stamp organization :-) I've also pinned this great post on Pinterest!

I used (4) 1"X6"X8' pine boards that are preprimed with white primer. Hubby ripped them for me on the table saw down to 1"X4.5"X8', as I wanted the unit more shallow to make the cases extend further than the depth of the shelf. It makes it super easy to pull one off the shelf or to search through the choices. Will help with the hunt when I finish the inventory system! I have the woods and cling done but not the clear. The cost was about 45 dollars. It's a little tricky on assembling as you must nail the uprights before assembling the shelves together so that you have room to nail/screw from the outside of each. Son has an electric brad nailer that made assembly for me much easier. Hmmm, might have to buy one for hubby and myself! If I were to screw it together, I would predrill. I staggered the length of the shelving to give it a lighter feel and more interest....plus I already had the swing lamp installed. LOL The longest shelf is just shy of six feet. Hope this helps those who want to give it a try!

Oh my, I posted this almost four years ago already! Time flies when you are stampin. LOL I have added a top shelf to this unit and that is almost full too. So wondering, do I stop buying or do I build a bigger rack? I have never considered demounting my wood stamps, as I love wood. Ready to stamp and easy to use, BUT as the shelves get fuller and since the Misti entered my life, I am thinking it's got to happen. So then I will have to add more space on my wood stamp shelves for the DVD cases. Definitely will go to clear cases though so they stick to the cases better. Anybody want to go party and help me eliminate the wood? LOL
