After making the eyelet cards I wanted to try something else with the same dies. In the latest issue of Card Maker magazine there is a card done using multiples of the border and insert dies to create a panel to go across the front of the card. I used that as my inspiration for the few cards shown here. I have to say, I need to find what SanFransister calls washi tape, but all I can find via the internet is decorative. I used the removable tape, but even that leaves a sticky residue on the panel. I removed with tape. I should have tried the Undu to remove the residue, next time!
There are 2 borders and 5 inserts used to get these panels. I cut my panels 7" long by 5 1/2 wide. That leaves about 1" left of the dies. I placed the dies cutting side down and taped as I added each new die, trying to not have as much tape exposed to the c/s. The cutting part isn't bad, it's when you put the panel through for embossing that the tape leaves it's residue on the c/s. And that was even after I stuck the tape to my clothing first.
This card is a little shorter to make room for the label that sticks up over the top edge. I glued the pearl sprays to the back of the label and half pearls in various strategic places on the front.
The sentiment was stamped with Versa Mark and embossed with white.
This card uses a 5" wide piece of the cut and embossed panel.

This is just so gorgeous! I love the multi-panel idea and if I have time will give it a try this aft. The pearl sprays really make the whole thing look so fabulous. About the sticky residue...have you tried one of those gum erasers that artists use? They have worked for me in the past on my watercolours. Also Scotch brand has a removable tape made especially for this purpose. I use it all the time...got it at Staples.

this card is just stunning! What a beautiful job you did. You can pick up 4 packs of Washi tape at Target in the office supplies section. They are in colors of turquoise/white, red/white, green/white. I think that is right. I want the orange/yellow combo but have not been able to find it. This tape at Target is only $4.00 for the 4 rolls. Very pretty stuff.

Wow! Your eyelet and other Edgeabilities cards are beautiful. I have 3 sets of the Edgeabilities and have played with them some, but haven't taken it as far as you have. It's back to the drawing board for me to see if I can create some beautiful cards like yours. They are all so well lined up, and doing them on white makes them look even more like fine lace. Thanks for the inspiration!

Beautiful! I love all three of these cards. I've been contemplating purchasing some borders and inserts, and after seeing these cards I'm definitely going to order. So glad you decided to share.
