This week the IC challenge takes us to the Red envelope website, where there's lots of goodies and inspiration. Too late for Mother's Day gifts, but there's some real class Father's Day gifts to be found. I went with some greenery, as that is what I had already ready in a card. http://gifts.redenvelope.com/flowers...ngpgroup=rflap
The bg embossing is a folder from Sizzix, while the die is from a new company; DeeÂ’s Distinctively dies that I bought when Els did a class at my local LSS.
I did the dying on metallic c/s before I did the embossing. The leaves have two layers to give them depth. with all the green, the touch of orange was the perfect finish.
I'll be back tomorrow to check out the gallery and make comments, it's time to get off the computer for tonight.

What a sensational card, Jennifer. Your bg with the dying and embossing(goprgeous EF, by the way) is such a perfect foil for those wonderful diecut tropical leaves. The double layering really gives them depth ....as you stated.

I love all these leaves (can you tell I'm a gardener..indoor and outside)! Great CAS layout and those die cut leaves are so cool! The orange twine and button are the perfect accents for all this greenery!

That's one of my favorite embossing folders and I love how you paired it with the diecuts. Wonderful inspired creation!
