So in love with these adorable birds. Colored with Copics, trimmed & mounted on Diecut oval & floral oval.
I handmade the ROSEÂ… itÂ’s a bit fiddly though. I really like the size, perfect for a card. Glitter pen on the petals.
To make the Rose: Punch 5 Retro Flowers, trim each petal with deckle scissorsÂ…cutting the first one about half the size, 2nd one 2/3 the size, the rest just nip with the deckle scissors. Mould each flower with a stylus. Take the smallest size, roll 2 opposing petals, glue together to form a narrow cylinder, mould the other petals around the centre to form the inner rose. Add each layer, offset from each other, glue the layers as you go, moulding the petals around the centre. When dry, open out gently, curling a few outer petals as desired. Each rose will look different.
