Today my DD asked me to make a birthday card for her friend who likes chihuahuas and bling, so I used today's Ways to Use it Challenge and Tuesday Color Challenge since they worked so well together. I thought I was using this week's sketch challenge as well, but after I scanned it and then looked at the sketch again, I realized that I didn't have a greeting layer and one didn't work when I tried to add it. I might try adding a balloon tied to the tail and if that works I'll rescan the image.
I added a ruffle to the bottom of the birthday hat to make it a bit more girly. The birthday greeting on the blue circle panel is computer generated.
EDIT: I added the balloons and like it better!
EDIT: So after the first revision of balloons, I noticed that I had a small grease spot on the light blue panel just below the dog's head, so I added a gift bag to cover it. It's cute, but may be too much, I'm not sure!

Kathy, there is never too much of a good thing! : ) What a great card including all the things your DD wanted for her friend's card. Great job....all in complementary colors too!
