This is the last Thank you I needed to make from our road trip the other day. This dp was sooo pretty I wished I didnÂ’t have to cover any of it up. But since this is for the challenge to add a bird to your project I made sure that the bird in the paper was visible. I saw a version of this card on a European blog and put it in my private favorites folder on my computer (not on Splitcoast) so unfortunately I cannot give credit to the source of my inspiration and I apologize. If it should be recognized and some one lets me know who the original card maker was I would be glad to post it and thank that person.
I down loaded the picture from Google and I used some chalk to color it a bit. I also made the stick pin from things from the beading department in Jo AnnÂ’s. The ribbon was sent to me as a freebee thanking me for an order I made on line so I do not have the maker. The lovely paper is from K&C Company and the butterfly is a Cheery Lynn Design. The envelope is a Marianne die. The Thank You sentiment is unknown. I used a couple of very small pearls for accent on flower and butterfly. I sponged the envelope with Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet and Antique Linen. I chalked the flower on the envelope. Mounted on Ivory Linen card stock

Boy I wish I had taken that trip with you and maybe I would be the recipient of one of your extraordinary cards, Peggy! You are on a roll! Welcome back!

What a fabulous card. I love the image and that background paper looks gorgeous. I love the envelope too (I just purchased that same die on Sat at the Ecstasy Crafts open house..he he now that was a trip to the zoo).
