I made this card for my dad's birthday. He has a blackwatch tartan Kilt. This paper is as close as I could find at Jo-ann. I folded the sides to add pleats and then added the sporran and belt with black and foil paper. The safety pin was used as a kilt pin.

Your card is awesome! My DH will love this for our anniversary, as he said he would wear his family's tartan if he wasn't wearing his military uniform for the ceremony. I told him to plan on it for our 10th anniversary. Now I just have to find or make a paper that looks like the Stewart tartan. By the way, what did you use for the silver chain holding the sporran?

Cute - my hubby's Scottish, so I'll have to case this for an appropriate occasion. Glad to see that no one so far has sunk to the level of asking you 'what's under the kilt?' lol!

Well, now that you've brought it up... I might just have to figure out a way to attach the kilt to the card in such a way that it can be lifted up.... and put a "No Peeking" sign underneath.

Hey Girls thanks the chain is a ribbon I found at Walmart. I was looking at papers here before I found it at Joann. They have the Stewart one you are looking for. http://www.tartanscrapbooks.com/catalog/i153.html
No one has asked me whats under the kilt lol
