The 45 minute challenge for the second mini vsn was to show an image that represents international travel. Here 'tis.
The first time I visited Greece, it was during the month of May. There were brilliantly red poppies in bloom everywhere! A little bigger than our California poppies-- and tenacious. I remember a single poppy growing in the ruins of the Acropolis in Athens... That was then.
This is now: I learned that I can't rush copics, and that it's easy to lose track of time while coloring. Also, my red is nowhere as bright as Greece's!
I may try this image again later, without the time constraint.

Your card is lovely, and reminded me of the flowers I saw on my trip to Greece as well. I remember going up steep steps with flowers potted in empty olive oil cans. Somehow it wasn't as charming on the steps to my deck in the USA!
