This card was inspired by a lovely card of Julia Stainton's, on her blog May 5. She used a round doily stamp, I don't have one so I used this lace corner. I didn't think too much about where to stamp it; I wanted the card to look a bit collage-y (I only used the jig for the sentiment). I used the shabby shutters mainly and then dabbed on the distress stains randomly. Birds are one of my favorite nature things to use in my creating.

Who needs the whole doily when you've got this stamp? This is so lovely...I like your use of distress inks on this..I just got a distress stain to try..I'm going to try what you did on this and dab spots..it looks neat. Great bird accents!
