I made this card for today's Ways to Use It challenge which is to use a bird on your card.
I got this Fiskars stamp set a while back because it was on clearance and because I liked this background and the peacock. I have used the background a few times, but not the peacock. Tonight was a perfect time to get it inky I used a small ink pad that probably came with a stamp set once upon a time and has never been used. But, I think it's a very pretty color and I'll have to remember to use it again. I used Nestabilities to cut the peacock and the mat. The matting cardstock is Lovely Lilac. It's very rare that I don't put a sentiment on my cards, but I'm going to wait and see what I want to use this for, so I'll add the sentiment later.

How striking in the purple! I love that bg, and even though it's busy, it takes nothing away from that peacock. Well done.
