The Flourishes blog has a fun challenge for us today - be inspired by something in your home! My card was inspired by a china collection that I have on display in my dining room hutch. It all started after my paternal grandmother died and I inherited the berry bowl on the left (for a photo, please visit my blog:http://cullen-arycreations.blogspot....swet-home.html. I loved the soft pink roses and greens and then the search was on! I never found an exact match to that bowl, but local antique shops and sellers on ebay were sources where I found additional pieces that blended in with it. Now you can understand why I love this Flourishes lenten rose image so much! :-)
I used the first Viva la Verve sketch for May (by the talented Amber Hight) and really loved this layout! I colored with Copics and fussy cut the image so it would be "out of the box" on the square panel. Here's what I used:
STAMPS: Lenten Rose (Flourishes), Joyful Blooms (Verve) - sentiment.
PAPER: Devotion pad by Creative Imaginations (green), Love Me pad by MME (pink), Black, White, X-Press It Blending Card.
INK: Memento Tuxedo Black
ACCESSORIES: Fleur de Lis Square Nestie, SU Old Olive satin ribbin, Spare Parts brad, Victoria EF.
COPICS: R81, R83, R85, YG00, YG03, YG06, Y13, Y18, BG0000, BG000, C0, C1.

Oh, Wanda, this is so beautiful, and your china collection is so elegant and lovely! And what a precious reminder of your grandmother! This is one of my favorite Flourishes sets!
