Today's technique challenge was to go back in time and NOT use any new fangled machine that made our stamping creativity easy. To go back to the "olden" days of stamping - LOL.
With that in mind I decided to actually make a rather "nostalgic" anniversary card. I made my own DP by using a background stamp, used corner punch, 2 circle punches, eyelets for threading the ribbon through, faux stitching, sponged the background to make it appear old, and distressed the edges of the image by using a scissors. The image is colored with color pencils.

You do "vintage" so well. Barb. Love the turn-of-last-century-image and the beautiful way you colored it with pencils. The text bg continues the vintage theme. I like how you threaded the organza ribbon through eyelets on the sentiment circle. A beautiful anniversary card.
