This is for the Technique Lovers Challenge (TLC374)-Stamping Nostalgia! I dug way down into my oldest supplies and into my memory for some of the first techniques I learned beyond simply stamping and coloring. This was one of my favorite "go to" images when I first started, by a long-gone company called Acey Deucy, I loved their stuff! Their line was purchased by another company but I think that company went out of business eventually too, I don't know if these are still available anywhere. It's a shame, cuz they are still fabulous.
Besides the image, I used an old technique from high school art class--I shaved chalk pastels with an x-acto and smeared the crumbs into the white paper to make a dry "color wash", then stamped the image on top and heat embossed with Black Opal EP. I sponged the premade card with purple ink, and dug up some mulberry paper and did the wet q-tip thing to make the feathery torn edges, then layered all together. Finished off with some Crayola gold glitter glue, from when I used to have to raid the kids' craft aisle to find such things!

How pretty this is. Love your mulberry paper. Can't remember the last time I used it.
