Congrats to Karen! So many wonderful choices, I picked two to case.
So this first card is based on her Rain or Shine I kept the layout but used a die cut, different sentiment and different colors. The sentiment is from Darcie's Sparkle set. The chandelier is a Quickutz die.
The sentiment panel and lampshades are made of white vellum and I added some score lines down the sides of the sentiment and some embossed dots on the lampshades. The little candle flames were die cut in white and color added w/ markers. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups will be on my blog in just a bit: The Write Stuff

What a pretty card! And using the vellum for the shades is brilliant! That is a great chandelier die! I haven't seen that one before. I LOVE the paper with the little flowers on it that you used in the background as well. SOOOO I guess I like everything about this card!

Love your chandelier, Julie, just BEAUTIFUL!! I love your pink and black colour combo and the clever way you made the lampshades and candles. I have just bought a chandelier chipboard die and can't wait to use it!!

Julie, this card is just amazing the way you mix papers, brilliantly used vellum for the shades and your bling. Obviously you are a master at this art.
