I wanted to give the Magical Masking Tape Background technique a try, Judy has easy to follow directions here.
I didnÂ’t have masking tape but painters blue tape works just the same and it pulled up very easily. I also cut the edges in a wavy pattern.
A tip to help keep the fingers clean: after placing the tape on the ink pad I used a scrap piece of paper to lay over it and press down, and when it was removed the ends slightly curled up so it was easy to pick up the tape ends.
IÂ’m also trying the Less is More challenge which you can find here and this week is one layer cards and add some doodlingÂ…I added the swirly grasses at the bottom of the image and ink line.
A stamp positioner was used for the wheat stamping.
