I wanted to try to play with Mary's CAS sketch from yesterday (here is the original card CAS125 Precious Butterflies by stampercamper at Splitcoaststampers) and now that I go back to look at it once more...I see I still didn't get it quite right :( I love today's color challenge combo CC371 Whispering Grey Sand (4/18/12) by artystamper at Splitcoaststampers of white, grey and sahara sand. Neutrals are my faves! I took some dp from the Neutrals patterns pack for my die cuts and strip. I stamped the circle flourish onto Basic Grey in the same ink then punched out my flowers and curled the edges up a bit. The centers are punched Sahara Sand circles. I used circle Nestabilities to punch out the base and make a white frame. I scored a great bag of vintage buttons at the thrift store yesterday and used one of those with some white Baker's twine. Now quite as CAS as I'd planned!

This is beautiful, Gail! Love what you did with the layout and the colors. The flowers, butterflies and embellishments are great! And I like the bit of zig zag on the patterned piece.
