Today's color challenge colors really took me outside my comfort zone...you might be able to tell from my gallery, I like bright colors like red, aqua, yellow (only in my cardmaking, I have a strange attachment to black in my wardrobe!).
But what are challenges for but to challenge us??!! Today's dessert is stripes, so I zigzagged some River Rock and Basic Grey strips together and they kind of ended up looking like suede in the end - popped up that panel. Stamped the chair image in London Fog and sponged the edges with Ranger Distress Frayed Burlap which comes close to River Rock. Ironically the chair image represents the opposite of my card making process here - the type text bg says things like "peace, patience, comfort" in case it's hard to make out. Added some burnished pewter brads to finish.

You are right, Bridget, most all your cards are bright and cheerful! I like your version of stripes for the dessert and the stitching looks great! Perfect masculine card~
