I'm playing with die cutting this week, for "A Cut Above" online class. This was an attempt to create a 3D embellishment. The flower was die-cut from printed paper and (following the die cut pattern) glued to create a cup-shaped flower. After some additional poking and proding with the dull end of my paper piercer, I added Glossy Accents and a rhinestone.
While I'm generally not found of orange, somehow the orange square seemed to set off the flower and sentiment.
This follows one of the Clean & Simple Fall-to-Layout sketches
Thanks for looking!
