I'm sorry for this faded picture; I haven't figured out the best place to take pictures of cards in my new residence. There is a lot more color in the dp; the bird is really yellow. This is the card of Shellie's that I cased: CAS CT0111 Grateful Birdy by shellied at Splitcoaststampers
I kept the layout, the longer stamp and the bird theme. I added another layer to the dp strip and added some embellishments. I paper pieced instead of colored my stamp. Shellie, your gallery was much fun to look through.

I sure am with you on that sentiment. WE can't tell it's faded and I sure do like it. About the time I figure out the best place to take a picture in MY house, DH changes the lights. I think your card is great.

Aw...this lil paper pieced bird is adorable- and I completely agree with the logic of that sentiment!

Oh, my...who can argue with that sentiment! Sign me up for cheesecake, too!! Fabulous card...the picture is absolutely fine! The organdy ribbon is a wonderful touch and the bird is just adorable!

This is super duper cute, and I agree wholeheartedly with the sentiment! Such a cute birdy! Love how you added another layer, ribbon, and an embellishment to the middle strip--looks great. Thanks so much for participating in my honor. Hugs.
