Wanna cookie? Wanna go for a ride? Wanna rub my belly? Yes, those are the things that made our dog Rosie turn her head like this and wait.... She's been gone 16 years, and I smiled today to think of Rosie and what a great dog she was, she was "family". She could take the newspaper to the neighbor for me, she chased squirrels, and our boys held onto her for balance as they learned to walk. And once, when we made a trip home without taking Rosie, dad was disappointed actually said "Where's the dawg?" We laughed and said, "Well Pop, we brought your grandsons!"
I struggled with the Twisted Sister challenge to have a "critter" on a card that was not stamped. Ugh...you know that means punch art, or sumthin'! My heart sank, but a challenge is just that, and when I can, I love to join the Twisted Ones, because that is "Home Base" for me. Ok, Mrs Boz, I did have fun- but it took hours! Yikes!
Well...punch art and whimsy are things I love to look at, but have a most difficult time replicating. So, I cased this card by CrazyKim, cause nobody does punch art like Kim! Thank you Kim- I love your work! I used a bazillion SU punches and Spellbinders. I got tickled to use the SB Leaf punch for the ears. Lotsa punchin' & spongin'. I need a nap!
Thanks for looking!

Well, all your hard work paid off - this is adorable. How creative is the little dog made with punches. A leaf punch for the ears??? Now that is creative. Great card.

What a cute card and sweet story. Thanks for sharing your memories about Rosie. Walking down memory lane, that is how we became stamping sisters. You were so nice to me when my Sadie passed. Hugs! Great punch art.

Struggled????? I think not, Sistah Pat - this is pure and simple brilliant - "LEAVES" for his ears?? - that is really reaching down deep inside to find the right shapes to make this stinking cute dawg - Loved the story of Rosie helping the boys learn how to walk - how adorable! Love that paper pieced body and the lovely foliage on your card - yes, and those jiggly eyes!! Too much fun - did ya get all your bazillion punches put away??? lymi

You are the QUEEN of PUNCHES too. This is adorable. I am trying to figure out all of the punches you used. I think there was some whittling done on some of that there paper too!!! My son just rescued a lab puppy!!!! He is so cute but like a little stealth running around tripping me. The knee is not doing well with this new fast moving obstacle in the house!!! Love this card today too. You just keep manufacturing these masterpieces. You are my Thomas Kinkade of card making. Love your work, sister!!! tfs.
hugs,
