Jeanne's challenge today to use inchie or twinchies on our card. It fit perfectly with the card I was making for my niece's wedding. She is a very artistic gal who love's the colors of black and purple. Her bridesmaid's dresses are these colors. My starting point was her invitation. It was mainly black with a touch of purple. I started the card by computer generating their monogram with Chopin Script. I outlined it with a black sparkle sepia pen. Cut it into a 2 inch square and matted. I then embossed a black strip and added two rows of purple ribbon, I then cut out an oval and put rhinestones on the side of the oval and cutit in half and put it under the black strip. Added two rows of crimped scallops to the bottom. tfl

This is stunning! The happy couple is going to be so thrilled with this beauty. AND, your niece is going to be say the same thing about her Aunt, "she's a very artistic gal"!!
Thanks for sharing.

WOWZA Linda!! What a classy card this is!! I love how you incorporated the brides color into this and did the black middle (sort of like a cummerbund for a tux?) and the white crimped scalloped bottom...so elegant!!

What an elegant card! If I can I like to use the bride's colors in my card to them as well. I saw your crimped scallops on another card challenge and just love them. They really add a touch of "class" to the card.
