I started with a Poppy Parade card base and added a layer of Stripes embossed Poppy Parade cs that was sponged with Soft Suede ink, spritzed with Crumb Cake and wrapped with Peach Parafait ribbon. I grabbed my Big Shot and the Tasteful Trim die for my Pear Pizzazz layer and my Scallop Edge Border Punch for my Blushing Bride layer. I used my Big Shot and Ovals Bigz die with First Edition Specialty dsp and then stamped the bird with Poppy Parade ink and the sentiment with Early Espresso. I stamped the sentiment again on Very Vanilla cs, cut out just the phrase and popped it up with Dimensionals over the dsp panel. This layer was also sponged with Soft Suede ink and then embellished with pearls.
I'm all about using up my stash of 2010-2012 In Colors before they retire May 31st!

Oh Regina, this card is so you! I love the scallops, sponging for a bit of distressing, ribbon, Stripe EB background and esp. your popped up oval bird image with the sentiment and pearls. Love it all. TFS

I totally LOVE this and put it into my favorites. Nothin' like a great CAS card. This inspires me..... If only I didn't have to work, I would be inky 8 hours a day!
