For this challenge, the idea was to have the title "leaping" from one side of the layout to the other....and it is doing that. This is a whole lot of photos taken over the course of the year at Heritage Park. I really didn't want to do multiple pages, so I ended up with this. But for me, the whole purpose of scrapbooking is the photos with the journaling to go with, and I think this accomplishes that.
I cut the photos into 2" tall and/or 2" wide, and then put them together like a puzzle. There is lots of sponging of all sorts of colours (normally, I stick to one, but this time I think I did 4 colours), with some newsprint scrapbooking paper and crochet ribbon to round things out.
Following are the left and right pages, closer up.
Hope you enjoy!

I really love this spread! I've been doing a few of these with lots and lots of photos myself recently, for the same reason. Like you, journaling is a really important element of scrapbooking for me, and I love that you've gotten the details down. I like your patterned paper layers, and your great title. Love this

Ohhhh...I"m popping in to my favs or I may pin it to Pinterest. love your choice of colors for the subject and you did great with the challenge. We have a Heritage State Park here, and I went on a field trip with my son last Spring. Lots of inspiration spinning in my head for that now! Thanks for sharing and playing!
