This is my first attempt at a wine glass lamp shade. It was super easy and very fun. I used eyelash yarn as the bottom fringe. I wish I had a taller wineglass, but this was all I had handy. I used sticky strip on the back seam and snail adhesive to hold the yarn on.

It's a lamp shade made from vellum and put on a wine glass that's holding a tea light. Very easy. If you want the template, and PM me your e-mail addy, I'll send it to you.

Very pretty with the vellum! I've done these for classes using cardstock & beaded fringe. A little tip that has worked out great for me...I get my glasses from the thrift store when I need to buy a bunch! It saves quite a bit of money & once they're washed, they look like brand new!

I was wondering if I could get the directions for making this. I am a new stamper/demonstrator with SU, and your project is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! I would LOVE to learn how to do it for my own house! I have 5 foster children and to be able to show them how to create these as well would be great! I would really appreciate it a whole lot!
