Memory Box Dies has a very cool tutorial on making Rolled Rose Topiaries, so last weekend we made two. Here's one of them. It was a fun rainy weekend project with good friends. It took lots of work: each topiary had around two hundred flowers. All were hot glued on a 5" styrofoam ball.
While it's lots of work, most of it is mindless and great for chattering with friends. And the result is totally worth the time it takes to make it. I plan on making a third one, using looser, white vellum flowers with hot pink edges, and placing it in my office.

WOW!! I love this BEAUTIFUL topiary, Patti!! It looks difficult, but I can totally see it as a good rainy day project spent chatting with friends. I so cannot get the hang of making the rolled roses. I have 2 dies and the best one was my first one. I've been thinking I need to watch a video, so after seeing this Beautiful creation, I will. You have inspired me!!
