Ok, the challenge was to scrap a page that people will assume upon first glance is one thing, but is really another...
I love this picture, because it seems like I am just running around barefoot before my wedding putting out some last minute decorations. However, the three red roses actually had a very significant meaning to me and my husband - they were placed on an altar to the side of where the ceremony took place in honor of our deceased grandfathers whom we wished could have been with us to celebrate! My grandpa passed away when I was 12, so DH never got to meet him. DH's Dad's dad passed away before I got to meet him, as well. But Papi... DH's mom's dad (and DH's best friend...) I was privileged to get to meet him and everyone jokes that he knew before DH and I did that we were meant to be together. I will always cherish the few memories I got to make with him before he left us.
The bit of writing at the top is cut from one of our actual wedding programs and it says: The single roses on the altar symbolize the memory of our beloved grandparents, Lawrence Muttschall, George DeFoggi, & Raymond (Papi) Stawinski. You are loved, missed, and always remembered!
I tried to keep the page pretty simple because I did not want to overwhelm the one small picture I had! Thanks for looking!

Very sweet memory you have scrapped here. I like that you used something out of the program. You did a good job keeping it simple for the one photol I like your birdie!
