We're off to Paris for the tea-party this week. I'm so excited to get there early before our real-life visit in June. I LOVE Paris . And I love the food there - so while I have a couple of little spotlights on the Eiffel Tower, my focus is on the bakeries and the bread - and all their other wonderful patisserie. Round the corner from our regular hotel is a little cake shop with the most beautiful works of art in the window - and they taste as good as they look.
A2 base.
Base layer is kraft, embossed with Kassie's Brocade and sponged with Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain.
Rubber Romance Boulangerie image stamped on watercolour paper with Versafine Black and coloured with distress inks, Liquid Pearls for some flowers, Glossy Accents on the glass.
Hero Arts Ooh La La stamped on watercolour paper, coloured with distress inks and cut out - Glossy Accents on legs, wine glass and beak.
I stamped an Eiffel Tower on a scrap of watercolour paper and punched out 3 5/8 circles, along with the postmark from French Foliage, and added a lot of Glossy Accents to all of them.
And even though I've made I don't know how many variations on this card, it never gets boring. In fact, I totally forgot that I meant to plan a card big enough to put a little pop-up Eiffel Tower on the inside.
Maybe, just maybe, life will quieten down enough for me to make another Paris card this week. I wish...

I just KNEW you were going to come up with a great card for this week's teaparty, Sabrina, and you've not disappointed!
So glad you get to go back for another visit in June! Love your coq, he's much too handsome to end up in the coq au vin!!

Just thinking of the wonderful baked goods has my stomach growling! I love this wonderful scene of Paris and reading of your favorite places to eat while there, Sabrina!! Pierre has the right idea, a loaf of bread and a glass of wine, and all is right with the world!!

Paint me green with envy that you have a regular hotel where you stay in Paris!!! The bakery sounds awesome and I love your cute bird with your cool Parisian street scene.

I commented on someone else's card that I'd go shopping in Paris, but you've persuaded me that I really just want to spend my time at the bakery or pastry shop.

You have certainly captured the essence of Paris - great spotlights of La Tour Eiffel, and what an adorable boulangerie. Stops there have always been priority #1 for DH - and close for me, too. Have a croissant or baguette for us while you are there - and enjoy.
Early wishes for a happy anniversary - we have you doubled and then some LOL!
