hi there,
Today's card is all about the warm weather and being in the garden. I so love this hollyhock stamp from Innovative Stamp Creations. It is a solid stamp and just works so perfectly with my favourite technique; watercolouring with markers.
I coloured the flowers using my Memento markers, spray with water before stamping. I really am surprised with the effects I achieve, it is different every time. Added the score lines and kept the whole thing really CAS (clean and simple).
Hope you like it and thanks so much for looking.

Gorgeous! Love the 'watercolouring'! Perfect choice to put it on a plain white background and the scoring just adds enough. May have to try this myself!

Love your card, Karen. The hollyhocks remind me of my mom. She always had hollyhocks in her backyard....bees loved them too! : ) You have such a beautiful design to your card....as always.
