This is my card for todays sketch challenge #377. Holly is our hostess and i just loved the layout she gave us. I can definitely see using this again.
I decided to go masculine and nautical. I had the perfect image and dsp to make this work for me.
My image & sentiment are from a just released set from Marks Finest Papers - lighthouses.
My dsp is from SU's nautical expeditions collection. I stamped my lighthouse in not quite navy ink on the designer paper. I liked the light gray look and I didnt have to do any sponging.
Cut it out with a Spellbinder labels 4. Under this panel I added some May Arts mesh ribbon and used 2 starfish buttons from my stash.
I punched an anchor-stamped happy birthday on a Spellbinder pennant die and that completed my card.

Red, white and blue is just perfect for a nautical theme, Mary, and all your details play together so well! I'm loving those anchors, that punch is wonderful!
