Last week ran away on me altogether with computer problems and other things, so this week (more computer troubles) I made a concentrated effort to get a quick card made today.
No extra cookies, even those wonderful butterfly cookies - with it only going in the post tomorrow I felt it was going to arrive too late to put a birthday sentiment on it. But brownie points and the front door for bringing more than one butterfly so Lars doesn't get distracted .
A2 white base.
Penny Black Flying Stars stamped with Forest Moss on white card. I coloured the leaves in with pencil, added Liquid Pearls (silver) on the flower heads and Stickles on the foliage. Sponged the edges with Tumbled Glass, layered onto green Bazzill and added a sentiment from Flourishes, also in Forest Moss.
For the butterflies I stamped and embossed with gold on white card. Misted the card and swiped with Mustard Seed, and then while it was still damp dabbed on some Tumbled Glass and Barn Door. I also added some tiny gems.
