Hi Everyone! This week our destination is Richmond, VA for Joan, mother of fellow SCSer/teapotter Emily (scrappinmama72inpa). We are sending Joan some teapot love and birthday wishes butterfly style!!
I loved the teapot that Cindy picked for us this week and for some reason I got really focused on the shiny black. I decided to emboss a shiny black flower for my butterfly! Stem from Fabulous Florets stamped in Basic Black and clear embossed on a Whisper White panel layered on Basic Black. I embossed two of the large flowers and cut them out. Layered the flowers and used rolled up glue dots between them for a little dimension. My butterfly (have no idea where it came from) is also embossed, cut out and colored with SU markers in Island Indigo, Certainly Celery, Pool Party, Marina Mist and Daffodil Delight.
Layered the image panel on a Whisper White and Basic Black. Base is Island Indigo. Added a couple of brads (I think they are Night of Navy)...I was out of black. Popped my butterfly with dimensionals and added the sentiment from SU's Teeny Tiny Wishes.
I only brought one butterfly so it's the back door for me this week! But I did bring a birthday sentiment so I hope I'll be gettin one of those butterfly cookies!!

Guess what? I hid the cookies at the back door...but don't tell the other teapotters! Snort!
OOh, OOh, so glad you got focused on the shiny black! This is absolutely gorgeous! The black and white of it, with the little splash of color on the butterfly is gorgeous! Simply elegance, clean and crisp....an outfit that Shania and Lars will just shine in! I am sure, when you snapped the picture, Lars flew off chasing a woman! OOh, he is impossible! He did that for my picture too!

You shouldn't have to come through the back door! I opened the gallery up and your card said, "HELLO! Look at me!" This is truly a stunning CAS card with that magnificent flower and even more stunning butterfly! She will love it and cherish it!
