Today the tea party is all about bright beautiful butterflies - red and black with wild patterns!! and we're throwing in a little celebratory birthday excitement in there as well!
And we're sending all this excitement to Joan who could use a little lift in her life right now - AND she is celebrating her birthday this month!
And even though my butterfly is bright, gorgeous and stunning (!) be assured - she is safely married to Marcus - so she will not be a distraction for Lars - he will see her little red baby butterflies fluttering around her and know she's not available to his wandering eye! (not to mention that Marcus will swoop down and beat him with his little antennae!?!) OUCH!
I embossed my lovely butterfly (from Waltzingmouse) in Cherry Twinkle embossing powder by Judi Kins - something I recently bought and was perfect to use today! I also used red metallic paper for my little baby butterflies.
I really got carried away with the busy patterned paper and dotted ribbon but was totally inspired by Cindy's teapot!

Ooh that Marcus sounds like one tough dude, I mean butterfly. Your card is so cheery. Love those little baby butterflies too. Moma butterfly ain't too shabby herself. You card is definitely asmile maker. Love it!TFS :0)
