The base is crumb cake with a layer of choc chip and an actual page from a book. I bought one at the goodwill that I keep to use for cards. The typewriter was stamped in versamark and heat embossed with black ep. I roughed up the edges and then sponged on some ranger distress inks: tea dye and vintage photo. I used the matching die to cut out the little paper in the typewriter than stamped the sentiment. I cut a slit along the top of the typewriter and inserted the paper, used a dimensional so it actually looks like it is sticking out of it. The red strip was sponged then run thru the BS with the square lattice EF. I added some button brads to it. I finished it off with some pure poppy saddle stitch ribbon and a button with some jute twine.
