My uncle is going on the Badger Honor Flight in a few months where WWII Veterans have the opportunity to fly to Washington D.C. and this is the card I made for him when they have "mail call". I wish I had checked my sewing stash prior to attaching the ribbon that's on the card. I found a nice gold braid that I could have used but I already had the ribbon attached. I hope it doesn't look too feminine. I hand-punched the stars into the red scalloped Nestability oval and the blue cardstock is embossed with the star embossing folder by Cuttlebug. TFL

Your card is perfect! Your uncle will love it. My grandpa was also in WWII. He used to do all the parades, carry the flag, I was very proud of him. Still am. We lost him in 2006 to cancer. They gave him a 21 gun salute, which I thought was very appropriate. Give your uncle well wishes and thanks from a true patriot! TFS!!
