This card is for the Alphabet Challenge to use Letter K. Here's my kid with a kite. For K, I used the color Kraft in a few places. The boy's shorts, shirt and the kite are paper pieced. The Wild Wasabi strip for the "grass" was put through a paper corrugator and cut with scissors to be more grass-like. The sun was "kissed" using a solid circle stamp and a flower stamp. A kool technique! This kid reminds me of my DS. When he was young, he had blond hair. I remember a favorite blue shirt and socks that matched. He had bright red shoes that he would practically sleep in. Our family would go to an annual kite flying party. Sometimes we would make our own kites. This card brings back fond memories. I left the sentiment off for now. I'm not clear on how I will use this one yet. Here's to Letter K. TFS

Great card Diane....very kool.....lol. I love your paper piecing. Great use of the crimper for the grass and like Lauren, I love your attention to detail by having the grass 'squished' down where the little boy is standing. Really cute card!! TFS
