What a very cool sketch! Thanks so much for the challenge!
This is one of my first serious attempts at watercoloring........ummm....census is still out. I love the soft look, but.....not sure what I am doing wrong. Any thoughts?
I used Momento black ink at first, but it smeared when I colored with my blender pens using the watercolor crayons. So, I restamped with Stazon and it seemed not to smear. What black ink do you use?

Soft and pretty! I am certainly no good at the watercolors but I try to stay with Stazon and let it dry awhile if I do anything that has water or is wet. My inks always seem to run a little no matter what, so I try to stay away from the lines as much as possible too. Your card is lovely and I love posts that have questions like this because I love reading everyone's answers. Smart girl. Hugz!!!

Leslie this is so soft and pretty. I have done some watercoloring before I got my copics. Definitely use Stazon ink and water color paper. If you want deep color, make sure to have a dryer brush-the more water the lighter the color. The trick is to layer color on if you like it darker and to create your shades and highlights. I am not an expert-but when I only had this for coloring images-it is what worked best for me.

So pretty, Lesley! I love watercoloring and haven't done a lot on recent cards. I use Stazon when watercoloring an image.
