This is my card for CAS161 which was to use white with shades of blue. I still have trouble with CAS and this is my second try because I felt my first - although really pretty - was just too cluttered. I love how this one turned out.
I dug in my scrap drawer for a bunch of blue, die cut the "vine" and punched the flowers and "planted" them on the embossed background, then placed two covered buttons of different shades of denim on each one for a crewel embroidery look. Sentiment is computer generated and punched with a small oval. tfl.

This is beautiful. It does remind me of crewel work. I have some beautiful pieces that my Mom made and shes been gone a few years now which makes them even more special. Your card is very artistic.
