A couple of weeks back Ravioli Girl had a request for some OLC cards for kids. I had several different designs all with dry-embossed frames, but this was one I wanted to try out for myself as well. My reward for making the cards was that I finally unmounted this Penny Black stamp and now it's so much easier to get a clean image first time round. So, I was able to stamp it on an A2 piece of watercolour paper, and then dry emboss a circle frame. With the die still on the paper I sponged blue inside and coloured the flowers that were inside the frame only. I added Stickles to all the flowers inside and outside the frame, and coloured the rest of the image. It was meant to be a one-layer card, but even with the SAMJ I misaligned my sentiment, so I had to punch it out on an oval, sponging the edges and adding more Stickles.

Thanks for sharing your tips for fixing a mistake! I really like this card. I like the sponging around the edges - I like to do it but never think of it until after I've completed the card!
